Christmas in Paris and at Hotel de Seine of course!

Christmas in Paris: Printemps Haussmann

It is unusual to celebrate Christmas in Paris. If you could see light streets, the lonely Grand Palais, and quiet restaurants, you would not believe it! And yet, Paris is one of those cities that fade at Christmas time to leave the family celebration its place, an obviousness. But you see, Christmas in Paris is magical, and for those who dare to venture on its bright places, those moments are unforgettable …

Let’s discover Paris and its wonders. On the weekend of December 24th, Parisians happily desert the Tuileries garden, Louvre Museum, and the banks of the Seine river while some enthusiasts enjoy the city!

Christmas in Paris: market at Saint-Germain-des-Prés

Illuminations during the Christmas shopping do not go out and make us smiling. Children and grownups crowd the Lafayette Galleries and the Printemps Haussmann to admire the show in shop windows. Puppets make you smile, sing, and dream … Place Vendome, Place de la Madeleine, and Concorde give the night an almost divine beauty. The Champs Elysees, facing the Grande Roue de la Concorde, are an invitation to dreams. On each side, glittering flakes thank you for coming to greet the most beautiful avenue of the World for Christmas.

The Christmas Market of Les Halles offers to greet Santa Claus in his pretty little house, while the Market of Saint-Germain-des-Prés takes place under the church as usual. The chalets, the smells of hot wine, and the wool scarves plunge visitors into the Christmas atmosphere…

And then Hotel de Seine, in the lovely rue de Seine, invites you to warm up near the fireplace, or in the sofa near the Christmas tree. A little suspense, the tree coat is not quite ready yet but you will discover it soon … 🙂 We will be pleased to welcome you to Hotel de Seine for your Christmas Holidays !
